Q: What can you do for me?
A: Dealing with the breakdown of a relationship can be a very uncertain and unsettling time. You will have numerous practical, emotional and legal questions, and you are likely to be concerned about arrangements for any children involved and how your income and assets may be divided.
I advise clients in this difficult situation on a day to day basis and regularly deal with complex financial cases involving property, trusts and family companies, as well as cases involving children, looking at issues such as contact, residence and schooling.
Q: What makes you different from other divorce lawyers?
A: Facing a divorce or separation can be very daunting and I understand that you need a solicitor to work with you to achieve the best outcome for you and your family.
I am a trained collaborative lawyer and understand that many people will want to avoid court proceedings where possible. I will work with you to try and resolve matters without using the court process. Where this is not possible, you can be assured that I have extensive experience of negotiating settlements for clients, as well as of court proceedings.
Q: What do your clients say about you?
A: “Thank you for your work and support. You always provided me with excellent advice and counsel.”
“I want to thank you again, so much, for all of your help and support…I certainly could not have survived such a long, frustrating battle without your calm reassurance.”
“I have really appreciated your non-confrontational approach to all this…your considerate approach really helped.”
Q: What involvement do you have in the local community?
A: I am involved in the Cambridge and West Suffolk Resolution Committee and organise the training events for the Cambridge Collaborative Group. I was also involved in establishing Young Resolution in Cambridge and act as a legal adviser as part of the Free Legal Advice Group.
Q: What else should I know about you?
A: I am a committed family lawyer and pride myself on building strong relationships with clients to help guide them through what can be a very difficult time and a very daunting process.
