Q: What can you do for me?

A: My work includes helping clients after a family breakdown, including resolving financial matters and issues relating to children. I have advised on a variety of matters relating to divorce, ancillary relief and private law children cases.

Q: What makes you different from other divorce lawyers?

A: I understand how distressing family breakdown can be, and it is my aim to support you through this difficult time. I understand that it is important for people going through separation to remain in control of the process. Therefore, it is my job to guide, support and give advice, but to ensure that it is you who makes the decisions and remain in control.

My approach is to find creative and workable solutions to those problems that are most important to my clients. While I have experience of working with high net worth individuals in resolving the issues surrounding relationship breakdown, I also provide cost effective and focused advice to those with more modest assets.

I also deal with private law children cases, including leave to remove, residence and contact applications.

A: Clients have commented that I provide quick, clear and concise advice. I am known for being very approachable and supportive.

Q: What involvement do you have in the local Leeds community?

A: I am a member of Resolution, an organisation of family lawyers committed to dealing with family breakdown amicably. I am an active member of West and North Yorkshire Resolution and Chair of the region’s Young Resolution group.

Q: What else should I know about you?

A: I am currently completing a counselling skills course, which has provided me with the skills and insight to support you. No matter how shocked, angry or upset you may be, I will listen to you, and I want to help you.
