Pre and Post-marital agreements

Can my pre-marital agreement specify the country for divorce?

This is known as a jurisdiction clause where the parties specify their preferences as to where any family proceedings should be commenced. Sometimes, parties also include an "applicable law" clause specifying that the laws of a particular country will be applied. The English Court treats such clauses as jurisdiction clauses. The English courts may give weight to jurisdiction clauses if there is any dispute as to where the proceedings should be continued.
