What can you do for me?

Relationship breakdown is very often a difficult and life altering period. Receiving informed advice about your options, the likely outcomes and the processes involved will assist you to make informed decisions about separation, divorce, related financial matters, and when relevant, questions relating to your children.

I advise clients dealing with all aspects of separation. I can support and guide you through the process, help you to focus on longer term objectives and ensure you reach a fair outcome. I work regularly with clients whose financial arrangements are complex, for example when there is a business, issues concerning trusts, or pensions. I am also experienced in assisting clients when there are challenges relating to children, such as with whom children will live and divide their time, if one parent wishes to relocate within the UK, or move permanently abroad.

What makes you different from other divorce lawyers?

With the bank of experience I have gathered, I am able to provide you with informed advice, manage your expectations appropriately from the outset and support you personably and robustly to reach a fair agreement with your former partner or spouse.

In the majority of cases, I work with you to resolve matters without it being necessary to make a court application. However, when that is not possible, I am also quite used to guiding an individual through the court process. We are fortunate at our firm to be able to access the expertise of colleagues across many sectors. For example, if you require any related property law advice, advice in relation to wills and trusts or any connected company law assistance.

What do others say?

What else should I know?

I am committed to building strong relationships with clients and supporting them at what is a very difficult time.

I am a member of Resolution, an organisation committed to finding reasonable and non-confrontational settlement to relationship breakdown. I am also a trained collaborative lawyer.

I also assist in the production of Family Law week’s monthly case law newsletter, which is an informative resource for practitioners and helps me to keep up to date with family law and its constant evolution.
