What can you do for me?

Facing separation or divorce can be an emotional and unsettling time. You will have many questions and concerns about what you should do, how you should deal with the impact on any children and how you should sort out your finances. My aim is to help you form a plan to work through these issues so that you can move on with your life positively and with certainty.

I advise clients about these issues day to day. I deal regularly with complex financial cases, including those with family businesses, trusts, international aspects and pensions.

What makes you different from other divorce lawyers?

It is important to recognise that every client and every divorce or separation is unique. Each has its own problems and difficulties. I therefore aim to work with you to find out what is important to you and what you want to achieve so that together we can tailor our approach with your goals in mind.

There are many ways to try and resolve matters. I have experience negotiating settlements for clients as well as representing them in court. I am also a collaboratively trained family lawyer so can offer this approach as well.

What do others say about you?

I’m delighted to have been recognised by clients and my peers in the legal directories:

“Peers praised my ability to "see the strategy and the way forward" (Chambers UK 2015)

A solicitor who "listened well and was comfortable in going with my preferred approach. She explained everything as to how things would pan out and helped me understand what I wanted to achieve” (Chambers UK 2016)

Noted for my "collaborative work and counsel in complex divorce cases involving pensions, trusts and cross-border issues" (Chambers UK 2017)

What else should I know about you?

Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and supporting them at what is a very difficult time is very important to me.

I am a member of Resolution, which is an organisation committed dealing with the implications of relationship breakdown in a constructive and non-confrontational way. This is the focus for the way I work. I have been involved with the regional Resolution committee for many years and am currently the regional secretary.
