What can you do for me?

Facing relationship breakdown can be a very uncertain and unsettling time. You will be dealing with the emotional issues as well as the questions and concerns about whether it is the right time to separate or divorce, how you will deal with the finances if you separate and the impact on any children involved.

I advise clients in this situation on a day to day basis. Whatever the problem you face, I will help you form a plan to see you through to a positive conclusion. I regularly deal with complex financial cases, including those involving family businesses, trusts and those with a farming background, as well as cases involving children.

What makes you different from other divorce lawyers?

Recognising that every divorce or separation is unique, with its own problems and difficulties. By working with you to establish your particular needs and priorities I can assist you to find the right approach and achieve the best solutions.

I work with clients to try and resolve matters without using the court process. When this is not possible, I have experience of negotiating settlements for clients and representing them in court.

What do your others say about you?

“Exemplary team with a broad range of expertise within financial divorce cases, including contentious trust, pensions and business issues. Outstanding ability across complicated litigation as well as a variety of alternative dispute resolution methods”. (Chambers UK 2017).

“Unbelievably bright” and “of the highest calibre”. (Legal 500 2016)

“Mills & Reeve LLP is “at the top of its game””. (Legal 500 2016)

“Stellar team which frequently deals with some of the largest and most substantial cases in the market. Well versed in both litigation and ADR” and “They are first-rate, there is no question about that”. (Chambers UK 2016).

“My client received great service and Mills & Reeve LLP will continue to be the first firm I think of for any international family law matters. I will enthusiastically recommend your firm to all of my family law colleagues”. (Ellen Stross, US Attorney).

“I would like to thank you for the way you've handled my case – not only professionally but also extremely sensitively. You've been wonderful, and made the whole horrible process so much easier than it would otherwise have been.”

“Thank you again for all your help – I am really grateful for all your calming, placatory and sound advice when I did feel desperate, confused and angry. The whole experience has been a life changing episode and I will remember some of your words of advice and ways of looking at things for a long time.”

“Thank you. I mean this sincerely when I say you have made my life and my daughter’s life immeasurably more enjoyable.”
