What can you do for me?

Divorce can be a personal minefield as well as a legal one. Getting off to the right start and having some guidance and reassurance can relieve a lot of the stress associated with the decision that you have taken to separate. That is where I come in.

Providing pragmatic and sensible advice on how to quickly resolve matters and reach a conclusion is only achieved by listening to what you want and what your concerns are. If your issues involve complex business assets, family trusts or difficult decisions about the children, you will need clear legal advice. I can offer this together with a sensible and personable approach to your situation.

What makes you different from other divorce lawyers?

Rather than being process driven, my view is that it is important to find the right outcome for the right individual. No two people are the same and no two cases are the same.

I try to encourage people to start with the end in mind – that way I can understand their goals and then manage their expectations. Whilst a lot of my job is to give legal advice, it is important to try to achieve what that individual actually wants and navigate the way together.

What do your clients say?

My clients have commented that I am always available to them and give clear, concise, no-nonsense legal advice. I try to ensure that I communicate with that person in the forum they prefer and are most comfortable with: over the telephone, face to face meetings, emails etc. Developing a relationship of trust and understanding is key to working together to reach the right resolution.

I have been described as energetic and empathetic but, above all, sensible.

What involvement do you have in your local community?

I am a member of the Norwich Resolution group, which promotes the constructive resolution of family disputes.
