Dr Jeannette Josse

Dr Jeannette Josse is a medically qualified psychotherapist with extensive experience of treating troubled couples and individuals.

She graduated in medicine from the University of London. After general medical experience, she qualified in psychiatry and psychotherapy and worked in the NHS in London and Cambridge. She has taught at the Tavistock Clinic and has been involved in research at the University of Cambridge.

She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and has a large private practice, as well as continuing part-time consultant psychotherapist sessions in the NHS.

She offers a confidential and flexible service to people before, during and after their divorce/separation. An initial consultation provides an assessment of the difficulties, at the end of which a plan will be evolved, which is tailored to the specific individual’s/couple’s/family’s needs.

Jeannette lectures widely on couple relationships, divorce, chronic illness and the life cycle.

Other interests, apart from her family, include photography and the psychology of photographing people. Published work includes psychology of chronic illness – mainly diabetes, divorce, photography and travel stress.
